My wife is famous

I'm sure you all know how great Kricket is, but here is an article showing why. The BYU Marriott School was ranked the #1 most family friendly business school in the country, due in part to the efforts of the incredibly supportive Spouse Association, of which Kricket is the president. She is quoted several times in the article, and has an incredible group of women that help her run the organization.

Clog On!

If you haven't been following the show America's Got Talent you really should. There are these amazing cloggers on the show. I clogged all growing up and actually would compete against some of these girls. They are five sisters from Morgan Utah. Gone fishin'

This summer we have really been enjoying the outdoors. It must have been the long, cold winter we had. One Friday afternoon I came home with a surprise for the kids...a fishing pole!

So, we headed to our nearby fishing hole, Spring Lake, and had some fun with worms. Jenna was brave, but couldn't help squirming like a worm in her hand and squealing like the girl that she is.

We've gone three times now and we haven't caught any fish, yet. But we just have fun being together.

Good Eaters

I feel blessed that my kids are really good eaters. A family favorite this summer is artichokes. It is kind of a family affair and makes a fairly big mess. But... it is good for them and the kids request it more often than I can keep it in the fridge.

Our Family

Here are a few updated pictures of our family. Garrett's sister Bethany said she had no idea that Ryder's hair is as crazy as it is and suggested that we post some pictures. There is also a new picture of the big brother and big sister in our family.

Growing Up

Jenna is growing up so fast. A few weekends ago she actually learned to ride her bike without the training wheels and the last week of May she had her preschool graduation. We are so proud of her and all of the things she is doing.

Every year our ward does a Father and Son outing. Cooper has really been looking forward to it (almost as much as Garrett). Well, like always they had a great time!

California Adventure

After Garrett finished school we had a small break before he would start working at BD medical this summer for his internship. He is still working on this thesis for the Engineering part of his degree and was asked to present his paper in Palm Springs California during the first week of May. Well this worked out nicely for us because it feel on our anniversary which was reason enough for me to come. So I flew out (with Ryder) to Palm Springs and got to spend almost a week in California with Garrett. We were in Palm Springs for 2 days and then head out to L.A. to meet up with family and the BEACH!

Women's Conference

Every year I look forward to spending some good quality time with my mom and sisters at Women's Conference. We always have such a great time and this year was no different. I am so grateful that Garrett is willing to help me get away for this time and that it is a chance to renew my body, mind and spirit! Thanks girls for such an amazing weekend filled with lots of fun, food, laughter and even a few spirit drawn tears. I love you all!

New Carpet

We are so excited about our new carpet. Our old carpet was pretty bad and we wanted to have nice carpet for our sweet little Ryder to crawl on everyday. Here are some before and after shots.


We also changed to paint color in our room from the "Sunshine Yellow" and painted a lot of trim. It was a lot of work but we think it looks and feels terrific!
