More of the Princess Party

Jenna had a great time at her little party this last weekend. We ended up with about seven Princesses and three Princes/Knights. (Not including the adults who also dress up for the occasion. Thanks Brian and April for your help!)
The kids dances a little bit. I mean it was a Royal Ball of course. Jenna was a little discouraged at first because her prince, Cooper, had decided he would rather be a dragon and therefore wasn't available to dance. She was happy when he changed into his Prince attire. and joined her at the ball.

We played pin the crown on the Princess. Garrett found and printed a great picture of Cinderella for them to play this game with.
The Princesses then played "Princess and the Pea." We told the story and then had the girls try to find the "Pea" (a golf ball) under the pillows. It has fun to see their faces and reactions when the found the "Pea."
Meanwhile, the Knights made and decorated swords so they could defend the Princesses from the dragons. Or something like that :)
We played flying carpets or musical carpets. The kids all won a Ring Pop for their valiant efforts. Though it was funny because they got the Ring Pop as they were eliminated from the game and so some of the kids caught on and weren't that anxious to win.
Then there was cake and presents. The kids seemed to have a great time and they were all so nice. Jenna received nice presents from her friends and everyone left having had a great time at the Royal Ball.
