Well I kind of struggled to be motivated to do 12 of 12 this month. I think it was because it was really just a regular day with nothing exciting happening. I decided to stick to it because I really do want to capture our regular days.
1. Ryder eating breakfast. We get to eat breakfast together almost every morning. Ryder has been sleeping in a little with the time change and we are missing him at the breakfast table. Garrett makes sure to wake him up before he leaves at 7:15 because Ryder is SOO sad if he doesn't get to say good-bye to his Daddy.
2. Jenna and Cooper making their lunches. They are getting pretty good at making their own lunches but it is still rough to fit that in every morning before school.
3. Mom on the phone with Brooke Cottle. I had a great conversation with Brooke today. She is such a good friend and when mom need help/advice or just a chat, she gives Brooke a call.
4. Ryder, Mommy and Trey Dawg during reading time today. We read Sleeping Beauty, one of Grandma's beautiful books with the pictures from the movie. It was fun. Trey loved the Dragon pictures.
5. Mom's current read. "The Forgotten Garden." This has been a lazy week with not a lot going on and so Mom got some good time to read her book today. She loves that!
6. Trey and Ryder on their bikes in front of the school. They love to ride up and down this little hill on the way to pick up the kids from school.
7. Spring time blossoms. We have had an amazingly mild winter and have gotten to still be outside a lot. It is SOO nice to see these blossoms out and know that Spring is coming. Jenna and Cooper will probably correct you if you say it is Spring now, because we are all about the official first day. (March 20th)
8. Trey "taking pictures." Trey saw his mom taking pictures all day and really wanted to help.
9. Cooper practicing the piano. He started piano lessons this month with Grandma and he is doing a great job. He loves to practice and is really pretty responsible to remember.
10. Mint.com - We are using Mint to help us continue to budget and save our money to buy a house soon. It is taking longer than we would have hoped but we are still pressing along. We are hoping that around July we will be ready to buy our own house! Dad is excited to spend more time with us and less time in the car.
11. Jenna playing the Wii. Jenna used some of her own allowance money this month to buy the Wii Sports resort game. They kids have had fun playing it for screen time. (This comes after homework, piano, and chores).
12. Time on the clock of the car when Mom got home tonight. Mom got to sneak away tonight for a Relief Society activity at the church. She got to talk in the parking lot until late and had a great time.
Honorable Mentions:
Ryder's first lower case signature. Trey discovered the baby and needed to "change his diaper."
The kids helmets that Mom carries to school so they can ride home.
Pictures I wish had had captured:- Garrett reading with Trey in the morning.
- Garrett putting the kids to bed.
