Cooper is Eight!

This was such a fun day for Cooper.  We spent the day around home making preparations for a birthday celebration.  He decided on a Boy scout cake, which Dad pulled off like a champ.  He also asked for Lumpia for his special dinner.  Lumpia are Filipino egg rolls.  Mom had never made them before.  We hoped that Grandma Angie would do that for him but she was out of town.  Mom came through though and they were really good, tons of work, but oh so good!  We had fried rice, and Spicy honey Chicken with the Lumpia.  Cooper is an adventurous eater and loves almost everything.  Lumpia are his favorite.

His new suit and some ties.

A new book that everyone is enjoying at the birthday party.

Cooper also got his own set of scriptures.  This is a big deal and he has been waiting and excited to get theses.  We hope that he spends a lot of time reading and studying these over the next 10 years preparing to be a missionary!

Here is what we want to remember about Cooper:
  • He is very curious about almost everything
  • He love to stare and things to figure out how they work
