September 2015 Week #3

Dear Kids,
This week was another good one.  Mostly we are still settling into the new school year.  Jenna is enjoying middle school and the challenge of the Summa Program.  Cooper has two different teachers this year Ms. Munoz for the Spanish part of the day and Ms. Baker for the English.  His good buddy Jonathan is in his class and they love that.  Ryder has Mr. Hernandez and we are really excited about that.  Ryder seems to love it and is going to learn a lot this year.  He soaks things up like a sponge and really likes to learn.  Trey likes Kindergarten but is starting to have a hard time.  He says that he misses me a lot when he is at school.

This week we celebrated Ryder.  It was really awesome this year because Dad got special permission to be home for Ryder's Birthday.  Lots of years he has had to be at and trade show or in Europe and miss Ryder's birthday but not this year.  We had a little party on Sunday with Grandpa, Grandma Angie, and Grandma B.
Dad has started a new tradition of taking you out to breakfast on your birthday.  It has become something that you kids look forward to doing.  It was so cute because when Ryder and Dad went to leave we realized how alike they were dressed.
Ryder picked Lasagna for his special dinner and Banana Cream Pie for his "Birthday Cake."
 One hundred Pokemon Cards!

 Pokemon book and Pichu.
  Ryder is SEVEN!
 We love this guy . . .
  • He is sweet
  • He is kind
  • He has a cute smile
  • He likes to look nice
  • He is funny!
  • We love his almost toothless grin
  • He is smart
  • He has an awesome Spanish accent
  • He is an amazing artist
  • He is helpful
  • He loves going on dates with his parents
  • He loves to spend time with his siblings
  • He has a testimony and understands so much about the gospel
  • We love to be around this little man and can't wait to see him continue to learn and grow.
I found out that the Sister missionaries put on a Scripture story time on Thursday and so we went and participated.  It was really cute and my three littles enjoyed it!
Dad did have to take off to Las Vegas right after Ryder's Birthday.  While he was there he got to see Uncle John and they got to hang out for a bit.
We are rolling along.
