October 2015 Week #3

Dear kids,

For Family Home Evening this week we decided to go to a pumpkin patch. We found a great little place and enjoyed picking out our pumpkins.

Dad and I have started a new eating plan called Whole30. We started this week and are excited to see how it makes us feel. We are eating meats, veggies and fruit. (No sugar of any kid, diary, legumes, gluten etc.) It is going to be a challenge but we are up for it. Here is my before picture.

On Friday night, Jenna went to her first school dance. It was a costume party and her new costume wasn't here yet so she pulled out the superhero costume and went anyway. She had a good time and is growing up a lot. Middle school has been a good experience for her this far. Some of the girls from church are in the Summa program and that has been really nice. (Sofia Erikson, Maria Hampton, and Allora Rencher).
