June Review 2013

My growing baby is so wonderful .
It is so hard to capture his handsome little face but I felt like these pictures did.
Jenna got to go to a Portland Thorns soccer game with her dad.  The Thorns are the Women's Professional Soccer team up here and Garrett was just itching to take his little girl.  Of course they had an amazing time.  We try to take the kids on a date with one of us every month.  They aren't usually this exciting.  Sometime we count a trip to the grocery store with mom or a haircut with dad so this was a big treat.  We are shooting to do a big date with each of them once a year.  This is actually Jenna's second this year so she is getting to make some awesome memories with her dad.

We decided to bless Weston on June 2nd because we new we would be moving to our new house around the first of July.  We also really wanted to bless him in the ward that we have been living in for almost the last year.  Garrett blessed him and it was a beautiful blessing.  We had Grandpa Barnum, Anton Jensen, Michael Schilling and Byron Christensen stand in the circle.
It was great to have support from family that lived close enough to come.
Here is our little guy on his special day.

I absolutely love this picture of you kids.
Your Dad snapped it before a Sunday ride around the neighborhood.
Trey has made a great friend out of Anton Jensen in the ward.  Anton is a single man in our ward that always carries a Lego guy in his pocket.  Trey is always looking around to try and find Anton so that he can get his Lego.  Anton has been really nice with him.  He invited the whole family to come over and check out his Lego collection.  It is super impressive!

Another shot of my angel boy.

This picture cracks me up.  Check out Dad's huge beach cruiser on the top of his little car.  Grandma B and I had a great laugh before Garrett left for work that day.

We have had amazing weather this year again.  (But don't tell because it's a secret and we don't want everyone to know it doesn't rain as much as everyone says :-)
We took a outing down to Ester Shore Park to see some recycled art (only in the Northwest) and play in the water.  It is a fun park and you kids always have a great time.  Weston did go and slept most of the time.

Strawberry picking came early this year.  We have had a lot of sun and therefore berries are ready and it is only the first of June.  The berries were really small so you kids did the best you could be we ended up buying some to make our load of Jam we make every year.

Weston's first berry picking.  He was a champ!

We are taking advantage of the gorgeous weather and walking the kids to and from school as much as possible.  We are also getting ready to move so I am trying to document things that have become familiar and that I don't want to forget.  This first picture below is of the two little boys waiting for me at our first "check point."  They are much faster than me at this point so we have multiple check points along our route to school.  The next picture is to document Weston's first ride in the Burley.  He did great.  He better I have plans for lots of time in the Burley.
Here is my sweet Jenna reading in the great out doors.
Here are the boys playing in the sprinkler in the backyard of Grandma's house.
One Month old Weston!

See, he does cry.  It just don't happen all that often.
Trey turned three this month.  I didn't a different post just about him but here are a few pictures.

All the kids love and adore Weston.  It is so fun to see them interact with him.  Cooper has grown up a lot and wants to hold Weston as much as he can.  He is really cute with him.  Check out this brotherly love.

Weston took his first bath in the tub.  The kids all helped of course and Weston was good to let them.

This is how we got to school on the Last Day!  We are so excited for summer to start!
I didn't do very good of getting pictures of Jenna and Cooper with their school friends.  I will try to do better next year I guess.  Luckily teacher put together great books for us.  I did capture this one picture with Cooper and his friend Andrew.
Daddy had his big yearly sales meeting the last week of school.  It was sad because we missed my Family Reunion this year that week too.  (Between our new baby, his meeting, packing for a move and we just couldn't pull it off.)  We are really looking forward to next year because everyone is coming up here!
Anyway during his sales meeting Dad arranged for Tesla to come and show off their new car with Whispbar racks on it.  He got to test drive this beauty and it might just be his new dream car.  He even tried to convince me it is a family car because of the 2 jump seats in the back.

Before the test drive.

After!  Look at the smile.

Move pictures of Weston.  We might be catching hints of a smile with these.

We are really enjoying this family of ours.  You kids are doing so well with a new baby.  Weston is a dream.  I do think that Dad and I are kind of worn out though.

These pictures cracks me up Dad and I are a sleep and Jenna is reading the boys a bed time story.  Grandma capture this moment for us.  Having a new baby is pretty tiring.
