Hey kids,
Almost everyone is feeling a little better than last week. Garrett was home one day this week and Ryder a couple of days home but it was better.
Weston was really interested in his Strider Bike one day this week. He had to get out there and try and ride around a little bit. He is so cute on it and I am sure it won't be long before he is zippin' around.
On Thursday morning, Mommy took Trey and Weston for an adventure. We met up with a group of ladies called "Hike a Baby" and hiked around at Cooper Mountain. It was raining a lot and a little quite a hard hike. It was incredible to see all of these moms trekin' around with these babies. It was really amazing. Trey did really good most of the time but was really, really tired at the end. We are working on having some no nap days and this was one of our first days which made it extra difficult. Weston feel asleep at the end of the hike and then won't take a nap at home after. I'm not sure we will be doing another "Hike a Baby" adventure for a while.
Thursday night Dad and Mom got to sneak away and go to the temple. We had both been sick and so decided to try to do sealing so that we wouldn't cough through a whole endowment session. We got to do a few sealing but both of us were coughing a lot so we left early and went home. We really want to try to get to the temple more often. We live SO close and it is getting more possible with you kids getting older. We are counting this night as a win because we got there, even if we didn't get to do as much as we would have like to.
Friday night was Jenna's special date night with her Dad. They went to dinner, Ceramic Cafe and then to dessert. It was a big date and they both had a lot of fun together. Jenna is growing up so fast. She is so much fun. She has loads of personality, is creative, and motivated. Dad enjoyed spending this special night with her.

While Jenna and Dad where out, the boys and mom had a little fun too. We had popcorn and movie night. It was fun to get a little work done and then take some time to snuggle together and watch a movie. We watched "Despicable Me."
On Saturday we had a lot of odds and ends. Mom went running, Dad worked with Cooper on his pinewood derby car. We did a little work and then some time together reading. The Youth did a service project at the Oregon Food bank and Mom got to go help. Grandma came over in the afternoon and did piano lessons with Jenna and Cooper. (Ryder thinks that he is ready to start too.) Then Mom and Dad actually got out on another date. (2 in one week, that never happens!) We went out to dinner at a really yummy restaurant and had the most amazing cake afterwards. We are going to have to go back.
It was a great week. Our lives are full, but not too busy.
We love you kids!
