July 2015 Week #1 - Montana

Kids-
The adventure continued after we finished our family reunion.  We took the day and did a little site seeing in Yellowstone National Park.  It was beautiful.  We took some family hikes and saw some amazing things as we drove through this wonderful place.

After Yellowstone we drove late into the night and reached the Johnson's house in Montana.  We enjoyed staying with them and having some time with there cute family.  They have a great house with lots of land to run around it and have great places to play really close.
Uncle Jeff took us to his fire station and showed us how a fire engine works.  It was amazing.  I wasn't sure who was more impressed the kids or me and Dad.
We made it down to the river a couple of times there and it was a great way to cool down.

We took a family bike ride.  Since we all wanted to go and we didn't bring the Burley trailer, we had to make do.  It was a great adventure.  Trey was really scared on the down hills, Jeff bike got a flat tire, and Garrett ended up carrying one of the kids on his back on the way home.  Life is quite the adventure with our family!

We went to a cute little town picnic for the 4th of July.  It was fun to see all of the different people and it felt really small town for us big city folks.  It was fun to see the people that we saw earlier that week at the river.  We loved the company and playing around at the park and throwing around frisbees almost made it okay that the fireworks didn't happen.

We left on Sunday morning because we had a long drive a head of us and we had a couple of stops to make a long the way.  So far this summer we have stopped at 15 different temples and on this Idaho/Montana trip we got to visit 4 more.  It has been an amazing experience and we really are trying to figure out a way to keep this us.
