May 2016 Week #4

Dear kids,

 Tuesday night can be crazy between scouts, mutual and Bishopric meetings but when it is Pack Night for scouts it is even crazier because I need to be there and so I bring Westie, Trey and Ryder with me.  The boys love pack night and tonight we just stayed after to wait for Jenna and snuggled up in the back of the car to read a good book.

Enjoying this beautiful spring weather we are having mean getting out on our wheels.  We picked the boys up from school and everybody wheeled themselves home.  We will miss having the school so close when they tear it down to build a new one next year. 

 Trey has sure enjoyed preschool this year.  We were worried at first because he still had some anxiety from trying kindergarten but he ended up jumping in and having a great year.  Ms. Garrett is wonderful and Trey made some great friend, especially Owen Rawlins.

 Jenna's friend Finn invited her to join him in presented some awards at Signal to Noise this week.  They did a great job.

Here we are, all geared up for a weekend at the Cowlitz Camper!

 We love getting away to the camper for long weekends.  It is SO nice to just spend time together and get outside hiking, biking and playing.

  

We started a Family Book Club.  Jenna wanted me to read some of the books she recommends to me and we decided it might be fun to invited Dad and Cooper to join us.  On Saturday night at the camp fire we did our first Book Club discussion and it was awesome.  The little boys were beat and so they went to bed in the camper and Ryder stayed up and joined in with the discussion.  I love my family of readers!
